Who Is Kathi Pepper?

Your Intimacy Coach Keeping the Spice In Intimate Relationships

It all started with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a belief that people needed a safe, joyful place to talk about relationships.

More than thirty years ago, Kathi Pepper began hosting home parties that blended education, humor, and heart — what she called “educationally entertaining conversations.” Those gatherings grew into a beloved boutique, a thriving community, and a lifelong mission: helping people learn how to connect, communicate, and stay curious about love at every stage of life.

For Kathi, the “toys” were never the point — they were simply introductions to conversations about confidence, trust, and intimacy. Her true work has always been about helping people feel safe being themselves.

Alongside her husband, Kathi has lived through the full spectrum of life’s tests — family loss, health crises, and reinvention — and has turned those experiences into lessons in resilience and grace.

Today, Kathi continues to teach through her signature program, “Relationships Through the Ages,” where she explores how communication, compassion, and connection evolve as we do. Her guiding truth remains simple and timeless:

“The best relationships aren’t perfect — they’re practiced.”

Warm, wise, and wonderfully human, Kathi Pepper brings laughter and light to life’s most meaningful conversations.

Remember when Black Friday was simple? The mall opened an hour early, folks grabbed a cup of coffee, and it felt like a big adventure. Years cruised by and retail got… well… a little, freaking wild. Midnight openings. Thanksgiving night. Then Thanksgiving DAY. Damn, many of us retailers have tried everything short of climbing through folks’ windows with a sales tag.

And the minute Halloween ended this year, my inbox lit up like a Christmas tree. “Black Friday! Early Black Friday! Pre-Black-Friday!” Cyber Monday jumped in so the online world wouldn’t feel left out. Now everybody — and I mean everybody — has a Black Friday special. Waterparks. Streaming services. Yoga teachers. Your neighbor’s cousin’s side hustle. It’s everywhere.

After 29 years as a retailer Black Fridays, I’ve seen and done a lot. Heck, our store was even open on Thanksgiving night once! Geezwhiz, that was a disaster I never needed to repeat.

We’ve done the fun stuff too — early mornings with coffee and donuts for the folks who had been out all night. Some years were wonderful. Some years flopped like a wet noodle. That’s retail. It ebbs, it flows, and it keeps you humble.

But this year? We did something different. We closed our doors, packed up, and spent the whole weekend laughing, resting, letting our world slow down for a minute. And it was exactly what my heart needed.

Many have asked why we were closed on Black Friday. Somewhere among the sunsets at the lake, wine with neighbors, laughter, and intimate times at home with James - this is what hit me:

Black Friday isn’t a day. It’s a mindset of the season. A way of showing thanks and value to everyone who has stuck with us through every twist and turn.

So here’s what we’re doing:
For Pepper’s Parties, Black Friday starts right now and keeps rolling through the end of the year — or until the shelves are empty. Many of these items aren’t coming back into our inventory. When they’re gone, they’re gone as we’re completing our business transformations.

So if you see something you love, grab it while it’s still here. Call us to let us know you’re heading to the boutique!!

And from the bottom of my heart:

Thank you for walking this long, winding, spicy little journey with us. After everything life has thrown our way, your support means more than you know.
