It was May 1996 when I did my first in home party, so yes, it’s been 25 years in this industry.
Parties took off very quickly for me and became very popular. I attribute it to several things. My parties were always conducted with a lot of class but also allowing the group to have a good time as well. We coined the term “Educationally Entertaining” at that time. I have a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and it accidentally happened that my degree really fit the party plan. I educated my audiences and normalized sex for them. We talked openly about how body parts work but also how to make those parts feel really good.
Another reason I believe my parties were so popular was “no waiting.”
We kept inventory on hand and brought the items to sell directly at the shows so most people didn’t have to wait on items to be shipped. Since we had the inventory on hand another thing happened. Customers would want to come pickup items at my house. They might not have time to put together a party but would want to replace a toy or buy some more Coochy Shave Cream. At first they would call to see if they could come by and shop and then people started showing up at our house during all hours of the day and night. We realized that something needed to change so we started working by appointment. For the first 16 years of our business that’s how we operated. We ran a store out of our house by day and parties by night.
In January of 2012 we opened Pepper’s Parties, Too.
We ran both stores while I was still doing parties for several more years. After 20 years of doing parties I decided to stop traveling to do the parties. We had several locations where we weren’t having to transport products for each show. We used the original Ellisville store and rented a room with the Playpen in downtown Hattiesburg. When the Playpen closed then we decided to start using the La Quinta Inn next to our store to do the shows. In the meantime we decided to stop the shopping at the Ellisville location and turned it into our executive offices.
We are a small “mom and pop” type of store with a very small staff.
We still operate under the same type of principals that I conducted my parties in the very beginning. We strive to educate our customers about their bodies as well as help them to find the right products to maximize their pleasure. Customer care is our specialty as we strive to treat everyone with respect and care. Our staff have been well trained by many…sexperts in our industry, direct manufacturer trainings, distributor trainings and by me.

Pepper’s Parties, Too is an inclusive store where we welcome all bodies. You must be 18 to enter with valid ID.
Covid Status
Our Hattiesburg store is operating at normal hours and no appointments are needed. We are available to you Monday – Wednesday 10a-8p and Thursday – Saturday 10a – 10p. At the present time I am not doing the parties and I’m unsure of parties by me at this time. However, one of my employees has begun doing parties and is willing to come to your home to do them.
Currently we are using the Ellisville location as a pickup only spot.
Basically if you know what you’d like then we can bring it to that store for pickup. We will send you and invoice through Square and then schedule a time for you to get your products. For safety reasons we are still keeping this a contactless pickup location.
